Married but single tax credits?

    Hi guys,

I moved to Ireland from Portugal a month and a half ago. Although my wife is just coming next month, I added her details in the 12A form, and ticked the box for married persons tax credit.

I just received the Tax Credit Certificate and my Personal Tax Credit appears as 1650. As married, it should be 3300, right?

I already registered for the PAYE Anytime account but cannot see anywhere where I can ask for this.

    Cheers,
    Ygor

You should give the PAYE section of your local tax office a call. If you put your PPS number in here, it will give you the number to call.
