Saorsat LNB

I'm installing a Ka band LNB on a 110cm dish for Saorsat and I have a couple of questions:

Should the LNB be mounted as close as possible to the dish or as far away as possible, as there is about 2cm of forward-backward play on the neck of the LNB where it connects to the mount. (ie the neck of the lnb is longer than the mount that grips it.)

Also, for Saorsat, am I correct in thinking that the LNB is mounted straight, ie not offset (like the LNB on my sky dish)?

    TIA

    E.

Move the lnb in & out until you find the best signal.

What do you mean by 'straight . . . not offset'? LNB skew? Doesn't matter with circular polarisation.

Adjust dish to max gain, then peak to obtain best MER,
