Hollowcore slabs above fireplace

I am getting my slabs for the first floor installed next week. I have been sorting out my airtight wrap and was wondering what way the slabs work above the fireplace. I have included a very basic diagram for reference.

Do the slabs continue above the fireplace to the inner leaf (with a hole in the slab for the flue) and then the chimney breast continues by building on top of slab?

Or do the slabs just rest on the edge of the chimney breast (green on diagram) and the breast continues uninterrupted behind them?

what do the PC slab manufacturers shop drawings show? and what has your eng saying on the matter?

be careful you dont end up with a down stand as due to support beam for this

I dunno. I have a contractor who is dealing with the slab provider. I'm doing the airtightness detail myself and have it all sorted but just wasn't sure what to do around the fireplace.

Was just hoping somebody here would know from experience what way it would work. Although I accept the only way I'll get a definite answer is to ask the supplier.

your main contractor should be feeding this info to your engineer & architect, so il ask again

I haven't asked him. I wanted to do the airtightness detailing myself. The thought about the slabs and fireplace didn't occur to me until I was out working yesterday. I do not want to phone my contractor on a Sunday so was just wondering if anybody had any rough guidance.

The slabs and their structural integrity will be dealt with by contractor, engineer and slab provider. I am simply trying to put a wrap in the right place.
