    I'm wondering is the Motorola motoactv golf edition GPS legal for competitions ? Anyone any thoughts ?

    I looked at an older version of this, I think the lack of course in Ireland was the downfall. But this version has club selector, which AFAIK is illegal.

    Thanks for your thoughts . I find it hard to see the difference between the GPS telling you it's a 6 iron from 165yards and a caddy telling you the same thing . Is there somewhere I can find out definitifily ? .

    I'm not even sure if it is a reason, but I did read on some site were mobile phone apps weren't allowed if they have "compass, weather info, club selection info etc" so that's why I mentioned it. Dont ask me were I seen that:D
