Live Albums seem to be going out of fashion even though concerts and festivals are more popular than ever.

I have quite a few good live albums myself but does anyone have some which they would particularly recommend.

HAARP by Muse and Alive (2007) by Daft Punk. Two best live albums going!

    Genre?

Iron Maiden - Live After Death - Classic
Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band - Live Bullet - Best version of Bo Diddley. Ever. By Anyone
Rolling Stones - Get Yer Ya Ya's Out! - Well, its the Stones
Blue Oyster Cult - Extraterrestrial Live - Not sure. Just like this one.
Jethro Tull - Live, Bursting Out - If you're a Tull fan, you have this. If not, well, its OK not to be a Tull fan I suppose.
Pink Floyd - Delicate Sound of Thunder - Comfortably Numb. Never Bettered

Or are you looking for newer recordigs?

Manu Chao - Radio Bemba Dound System - Parrtttaaaayyyyy! :)

    Life Live - Thin Lizzy
    Nirvana - Live At Reading

Allman Brothers Band - Live At Fillmore East is the greatest for me.

    Honourable mention to

Van Morrison - Its Too Late To Stop Now
    Grateful Dead - Europe 72
Rory Gallagher - Irish Tour 74
    Bob Dylan - Hard Rain
The Who - Live At Leeds
    Neil Young - Weld

Some of the best right there IMO. Of course its all about whose one favourite artists are really which dictates favourite live albums for the most part, but Ive read many a poll on this subject seems my choices are pretty popular and nothing obscure so......

In saying that previous poster added Jethro Tull's Bursting Out, huge Tull fan here but I dont believe its comparable to any of the above.

Little Feat - Waiting For Columbus is a cracking live one too.

Forgot AC/DC If You Want Blood - INCREDIBLE. Along with Made in Japan - sound of that tops all.

There is a James Brown live album from his prime out there, supposed to be kicking. Saw a dvd of him in his heyday, a bundle of raw energy, if live album is anything like that I gotta get it. Must investigate.

Life was bad, Lynott wasn't well at that stage. His production was poor. Sight and sound was brilliant.

The first live album I ever bought was Queen Live at Wembley '86. It came out in 1992 and I bought it that summer (I was 8 years old and had saved up for months), and it's still my favourite album. I've been a big fan of live albums ever since and these are some of the best in my opinion, some have already been mentioned by other posters here:

Eric Clapton - Just One Night
Clutch - Live in Flint, Michigan
The Doors - Live in Philadelphia
The Doors - Live in Detroit
    The Doors - Absolutely Live
    Bob Dylan - Hard Rain
    Bob Dylan - MTV Unplugged
Rory Gallagher - Irish Tour '74
Grateful Dead - Steppin' Out with the Grateful Dead: England '72
Magnolia Electric Co. - Trials and Errors
Van Morrison - It's Too Late to Stop Now
Pink Floyd - Is There Anybody Out There? The Wall Live 1980 - 81
Queen - Queen On Fire: Live at the Bowl
Queen - Live at Wembley '86
Sex Pistols - Filthy Lucre Live
    The Smiths - Rank
Talking Heads - The Name of This Band Is Talking Heads
The Who - Live at Leeds
    Neil Young - Weld
    Neil Young - Unplugged
Warren Zevon - Learning to Flinch

Honourable mention goes to Live from the Bataclan by Jeff Buckley which is an ep rather than an album but is absolutely amazing.

    My favourites

Wings - Wings Over America. Waiting on the deluxe edition to ship from Amazon. Part of the tour (1976) features on the Rockshow DVD.

Peter Gabriel - Live In Athens 1987. Features on the So special editions. The DVD version is included in the deluxe set and is well worth it.

Rolling Stones - Some Girls: Live In Texas '78. The concert film is intense - amazing energy. It's my favourite album of theirs. This is worth picking up - double LP, CD and DVD in the one package.

Grateful Dead - too many to mention but the Dick's Picks series has some great full shows. Volume 36 dates from September 1972 and is a killer.

Elvis Presley - That's The Way It Is or On Stage.

    Genesis - Seconds Out.

    Cheap Trick - At Budokan

The Clash - Live at Shea Stadium
Bill Withers - Live at Carnegie Hall
    The Ramones - It's Alive
Bruce Springsteen - Live in Dublin

Lynyrd Skynyrd - One more for the road
    Led Zeppelin - Celebration Day
Black Country Communion - Live over Europe
Rory Gallagher - Live in Europe
David Gilmour - Live in Gdansk
Roger Waters - In the flesh

    All excellent live albums.

First live album I bought! Sometime in early 1985. The original nine track LP is very good [if understandably heavy with Speaking In Tongues material]. The expanded CD with the full tracklist is better I think.
