Singer / rythym guitarist looking for band, Dublin

    Hi,

    I'm a 33 year old singer and guitarist with 15+ years gigging experience, looking to start or join a band as either or both. I'm a little bit rusty after a couple of years away from the music scene but really hoping to get back into it soon. North Dublin. Own transport. Influences: Alice In Chains, Faith No More, Soundgarden, Muse, Pixies, QOTSA, mainly rocky stuff like that. Also into a lot of softer stuff, The Smiths, The Cure, Damien Rice, Elliott Smith, Bon Iver, Glasvegas etc. All depressing stuff!

    Some of my old band's stuff can be heard here: www.cobrakai.bandcamp.com (Listen to "Sins Of The Flesh", and maybe "Seasick", which has some nice harmonies :) )

    Prefer originals, not into cover bands.

    the lyrics and vocal are me (i suck at singing but couldn't find anyone)

    I have a bass player lined up too so would just need a drummer.

    The bass player and myself are also in our early 30s

    Would hope to rehease in city. Most likely weekends but the odd week night if it suits everyone.

    I have wrote all the songs on the soundcloud page but obviously as a band it would be write as a band.
