as the title says a few of us will be out in dublin in a few weeks. Lads in our early to mid 20s and looking for good pubs with 20 -30 age group.

Somewhere to drink from 6-11 before going to a club. Some music would be good a dj, jukebox or a band any type of chart music really.

Whats pygmalion like? Is flannery's good?

Pygmalion is a nice bar. quite a trendy place.

Flannerys is a big pub, plays chart music and is very vibrant. it does suit big groups.

youre probably better narrowing it down to an area. flannerys is on Camden street, which is the village quarter. basically Camden/wexford street are more
indie type places, where as Harcourt street is more dance/ shirt and jeans type places. so I guess it depends on your tastes.

Temple bar is mostly tourist places but is still great fun especially in a group and it does have some very cool bars there. for a group I would recommend fitzsimmons or the morgan and the porterhouse. also brewery lane if you like your beer!

the bars around grafton street have a bit of everything but plenty of big pubs and bars for groups, the market bar, the secret bar, hogans, the globe, 4 dame lane, Dakota, samsara, no.37, café en seine, izakaya, sinnotts etc would all suit you.

obviously there are more places in the north city centre but that should give you an idea.

checkout www.publin.ie they have hundreds of city centre pubs and bars listed.
