Ladies watch trend 2013?

Looking to buy myself a watch. What's the trend for 2013. The most I'm planning on spending on it would be 300-400. Silver, yellow gold or rose gold. I'm not too sure where to start. I find sometimes yellow gold and look wrong on some pale Irish skin. Iv seen a lot of (or maybe just noticed) rose gold watches around and they seem to catch my eye more,

Any help with watch trend.

I wouldnt get too hung up on whats the trend for this year...try to find something that will last the test of time and look classic at any era. I have been noticing though that women are starting to wear bigger watches, but really depends on their wrist and whether they can carry it off. I have a 37mm Seiko and its probably the max size my wife could get away with
