Uploading a CV Query?

    Hi all,
    I have created a personal profile on a jobs site and have uploaded my cv. I am currently in employment and don't want my present employer to know that I am looking elsewhere. I have kept my profile private as I'm worried my employer will find it. Does anyone know if I make it public can they see who the cv owner is and by keeping it private am I limiting my chances of being offered an interview?
    I work for a multinational company so I know that they use these sites.

    Why don't you want your employer to know you might be looking elsewhere?

    In my experience it has always led to them giving me more money.

    Didn't think of that but it's not really about money. Its more about my work/life balance. I currently working up to 13 hours a day and can't sleep with the stress of it. It's starting to affect my health and my relationship with my oh
