Is that for one of you or both?

I flew Dublin/Heathrow rtn, Stanstead/Ibiza rtn, plus accommodation a few years ago for alot less than that.

Unfortunatly dont remember where I stayed.

What time of year you going?

Was there last year stayed in the Casa Maria apartments, booked through booking.com. Apartments were in a great location in San Antonio, felt very safe and the staff were lovely. Wasn't luxurious but was nice enough for a group of lads heading over and would definitely stay there again if I went back, quite cheap too. There was a 24 hour bar downstairs with a restaurant, and on the roof there was a pool with a bar beside it!

thanks for the info , will definitely take a look.. Do you think its better to book now or wait for some last minute deals? Im thinking of booking now as the price might go up even further

Here is some info similar to the question

There is camping on the island but some camping is better than others .I didn't hear many good reports for the Saint Antonio camping site . i stayed for several months on the camping site outside Saint Antonio Kalla Bassa if i recall .Fantastic beach there beside the camping site .The prices in August for camping would still shock you. However its a trek from Kalla Bassa to get the Saint Antonio to connect to the bus services there to night clubs and things . However August its not cheap for anything on the Island or Spain or the med its high season.Trying to find cheap accommodation in August is uphill battle 90% of all rentals have been booked last year so your one year too late for the cheapest best rentals .However the economic pressures are forcing prices down and there are more cancellations so 2013 should be more easy than 2012 .
I know many who bring a tent and do camping savage in the forests and save a fortune doing that and live not too far from beach to revive with in the morning after serious session that night.Just don't bring camping stoves and buy and live from tinned food as the penalty for setting fire to the forests is long jail terms .Also if you smoke have suitable solutions water containers to ensure cig butts are out as waking up in forest fire isn't fun .Also local cops often leave you alone if they see you don't have the stuff that might cause forest fires. Some parts the island are Hippie meca centers and they will show you good caves to hang out in if they like you .If not they show you the crappy caves
