Yeah that looks like a solid build, very similar to my own. If you're installing a fresh Windows 7 onto the 840, it won't initially be recognised by Windows 7. You'll need to open a command prompt and use diskpart to format the disk. There's a guide on the internet somewhere about how to do it with clear instructions.

Found the link, it's a different disk but the same process applies.

    Cooler Master Hyper 412S - Intel/AMD|€32.87
    PowerColor PCS+ HD7870 Myst. Edition 2GB GDDR5(UEFI READY)|€200.54
Nanoxia Deep Silence One Silver, ATX, ohne Netzteil|€92.47

Threw in a nice case at the end but cases are a personal preference so I'll leave it up to you. Main difference here is a better graphics card and cutting down on the motherboard and PSU. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

As Tij pointed out you are overspending in a couple of areas. I'd use his build with a couple of changes.

Change the graphics card to this.

I'd change the cooler to this as well.

There's still plenty of good cases in the €50-60 region.

    That's a sick price on a 7950, by the way. Cheaper than a 660ti.

Didn't realise you could pick up a 7950 so cheap. That's a damn good price. The 212 EVO is Delivery Date Unknown on HWVS and that can delay the order by a good bit.

Thanks guys but just a few questions I have looked at the PowerColor PCS+ HD7870 Myst in another thread and it seem to get a great bang for your buck but a review on "Tom hardware" seems to point at high temps and power consumption ( graphic card have being a nightmare to choose)
    http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/tahiti-le-7870-7930-benchmark,3401-7.html

Have poeple here got experience with this card?

As for the mobo I was totally lost I was just told stay away from MSI and that gigabyte was the best but asrock seems like a good alternative.

that 212 evo is out of stock so I think I'll run with the 412s tij recommended

Everything else recommended I'm going to go for but i think i'll stick with the gtx660

Anyway thanks guys and thumbs up to you for helping me the heads being wreaked trying to finalise this build :(

You said you aren't ordering until next week. I can guarantee you that 212 evo will be back in stock by then.

The money you save on the other parts could be used to get the far superior 7950. It ****s on the 660 from a great height.
