Property tax estimates

    Hi,

Does anyone know if anyone has been helpful enough to compile a list of the revenue value estimates (I guess it would have to be a Wiki where poeple upload them voluntarily) ? I am trying to figure out what kind of granularity Revenue are using. I live on a road where there have be virtually no transactions on the sales register so in guessing the value of my property I'm trying to understand if I am guessing the value of an X-bed house on my specific road or an X-bed house in my general area (1 mile radius, 3 mile radius, something else ?). I have talked to some neighbours and it seems all houses on the road have been given the same estiamate but I would like to know if that holds for the adjacent roads in which case I could widen my search on the Sales Price register to get more data points on which to base my guess. It seems bizzare that they have hidden their estimates behind a password (https://lpt.revenue.ie/lpt-web/views/login.html?execution=e1s1) what exactly is the big secret given that the sale price for any given house will be public knowledge as soon as it changes hands?

So, anyone have any ideas ?

    Thanks,

    Usjes.
