ISO file question

    Is mounting an iso the same as opening it?

    Mounting an ISO file is like loading a CD into the drive, so the OS can see the contents on the ISO file.. So yes :)

    You can 'mount' an ISo with something like PowerISO, this makes it available under a drive letter in Explorer; you could also open it with WinRAR, and probably others.
