Hi guys, just bought a gas cooker from Currys and when it was delivered we realised that it cant be installed straight away. the previous gas cooker we had used the gas cylinders and it seems that this cooker cant be run off them unless we get someone in to fix it? is this normal? when buying it off the website, the description never said anything about the fact that it was set up to take only piped gas? also is this expensive to get changed by a qualified gas eprson? thank you!

Curry's are famous for forgetting to mension that the cooker is supplied for Nat Gas and must be convertered to LPG, they also often forget to supply the conversion kit.
The cooker will require an RGI to fit it and convert, and in some cases the conversion can take as long as the installation and add a sizable lump to the final bill, the installation costs will be dependent on your existing pipework.
