sounds like the charcoal filter. I'll have a gander.

    ...

It's the charcoal filter or the Evaporation canister as they call it.
Either a blockage a leak in the system or jammed/faulty valves or solenoids.

Thanks!! Would be great if someone has solved this before as even the main dealer mechanic thought the purge valve replacement would fix this!

    Did you mean Charcoal cannister?

Yes but that is only part of the system that could be faulty. The fuel system is sealed to stop evaporation of fumes. Basically air is getting in somewhere or the N80 or N115 is fecked. All this should be inspectable/testable rather than a trial and error replacing parts approach.

    Thanks came across this already.

    Found this also:

code P0441 could mean one or more of the following has happened: Bad vacuum switch Broken or damaged EVAP line or canister Open in PCM purge command circuit Open or short in Voltage feed circuit to Purge Solenoid Faulty purge solenoid Restriction in EVAP solenoid, line or canister Corrosion or resistance in purge connector Bad PCM

    hi guys,

if all the evaporation system is good, than it is certainly the ignition system that cause this code to show up. you have probably some misfires due to the spark plugs or the ignition coils. just do a real time misfire detection using vagcom. and drive on the road.
