    Hi there,

I have a countax mower with a K46 Tuff Torq transaxle. I want to do an oil change. They recommend SAE 10w30 grade oil for the change. When I went to get this the guy in the shop told me not to use this but sold me Honda Hydro Oil (H-HST).

I cant find a lot of info on the Honda Oil but i believe it is a similar weight.

    Has anybody got any advice?

    Thanks

When I changed mine (Husqvarna), I used the recommended SAE rating but used the highest quality oil I could find - it was semi-synthetic as I couldn't get synthetic in the right viscosity.

I also changed the filter (manufacturer recommendation).
