Chance to have a look at Jimmy Gopperth.
    Might be interesting.

Wife out for the night. Bottle of wine opened.

am I correct in saying that if Bedford win overall (2nd leg next week) that due to the fact their ground doesn't meet required standards, they don't actually move up to the premiership next season and London Welsh stay up?

    That is correct.

Here's the funny thing: London Welsh don't want to stay up! They're broke.

Used to play for Leinster but never really got much gametime.

Bedford have a couple of Saracens reserves playing.

Gopperth has plenty of skills in his set of tools... good athlete too. Will fit in well at Leinster imo.

Gopperth's defence hasn't looked that good so far,Bedford broke out of their own 22 when they were under pressure due to a missed tackle from him and missed another tackle on the Bedford 15.

poor guy, if you could think of the toughest place to be trying to break into a first team at outside centre, what team would spring to mind? Is there a tougher incumbent to push off his perch. Guy never stood a chance.

    Good finish now.

Bedford with a scrum 5m out and no time

Tough penalty kick to finish the game 6 points behind Newcastle but he misses

    Poor display by Bedford.
Newcastle far superior in most aspects. 18 points to Gopperth

Burke played on the left wing (mostly) or full back when he was with Leinster. He only started playing in the centre when he went to England.

Never even realised he played 13!

He was never going to make it here at the time anyway.
