sky rang me yesterday after ringing me 3 times i took the call the third time.
they offered me sky hd for only 5euro for 12 months.girl in work also got same offer.good deal much better than 15euro which was way too expensive.
told her as much on the phone that the hd was not worth more than 5euro so i was happy to take the offer. i have the entertainment pack(35 euro) by the way. about time sky are seeing the light and being a bit more realistic with the price of hd.must be an ireland offer as call came from cork.

Do you mean €5 for 12 months or €5 a month for 12 months which is €60 for 12 months?

Either way will you remember to give one months notice to cancel HD in 11 months time before it goes up to full price again?

Why are you paying €35 for entertainment pack? Is that the cost if you don't have a phone or broadband?

Isnt hd now only 5 euro though anyway?
Didnt sky change it to 5 euro but excluded f1.

I think the €5 is a promotion thats running at the moment. It may well revert to €15 again.

Just like the F1 I think its an attempt to get you hooked in that they give it free/discounted for a period and then hit you with the full price if you wish to keep it.

    erm,
they offered me the entire package, excluding HD and multiroom, for €39.50 a month for 9 months. No 12 month contract either, just a rolling 31 day contract :)

Well that will go well for them. Cancellations and package reductions all over the shop.
