i ran 10 mile at an easy pace and did it in 1:26mins. 6miles of it were cross country with four on roads. is this a bad time or average? as i said it was done at an easy pace and was under no pressure at all. im trying to set a pace for a half maraton im looking to do. thanks.

It was a training run - I'd say there's no point in reading anything into it. If you want a realistic target race time, then the best thing to base that off is another race time. IMHO your best bet would be to find a 5/10k nearby and use that as an indicator.
