Cincinnati Bengals Thread

This will finally answer a long held question of mine...

Am I the only Bengals fan in the country?

I think we are shaping up nicely for a deep run this year with a solid draft, a lot of returning starters and plenty of weapons for Andy Dalton to throw to!

This really is a year where he needs to take a significant leap forward as our starter or else it might be time to look for a more experienced QB to hold the fort until another decent prospect arises, Maybe Johnny Manziel in 2 years time through a trade?

Personally I would like Andy to pull it out but I am skeptical as to whether he can control his interception to touchdown ratio at crucial times and games.

All 3 that I know play or played in the Irish American Football League (IAFL) here. Wide variety of teams followed among 500+ member in the league. I wouldn't be surprised if there is more than 4 of you because of the IAFL :D

Divisional rivals but I always route for them because they're never really a threat . Until now of course.

Exactly , over the last few years we have become a serious presence in the division :D

Hopefully this year if we get to the playoffs we wont finish one and done again. Thats a serious monkey we have to get off our backs. Lewis and front office have really got their game together the last few years and their drafting has been very good so hopefully this year we can push on again

We were unlucky to come up against a stern Texans team each year, but Dalton has to start making the clutch throws, that's the only way we are going to progress...

we know our defense is stout and we are going to run the football well, we should get a lot more play action going than we do and with all the options available to him , coupled with the fact AJ will see double coverage the majority of the game, Andy should be able to step it up a gear this year if he is going to progress the way we need him to.

We need Sanu to stay fit and continue on his promise before he got injured last year. How Eifert performs in his first season will be interesting too. AJ is carrying too much of the workload at the moment and if he gets injured we are fcuked.

well thats what they have tried to address the last two years so i hope it pays off this year, alot of it is down to Eifert as if he plays well ,we will be able to go to a lot of two TE looks.

Love coach Lewis. Should be good fun. Very different squad to when they were last on it.

Ya, Pacman Jones is the obvious one. Always in trouble. I've a feeling Sanu could be a bit of a character too

Had to dig this one out. No love for the Bengals here huh?

John Ross and Joe Mixon. Wow, Instant massive upgrade to the offense. If their coach wasn't such an incompetent hack. They would be a force in the AFC north next season.
