Credit card payment

    Hi guys. 
    I transfered money to the credit card current account online with bank of Ireland
    However I completely forgot to put the credit card number in the description.
    What can I do?

    Thanks for posting. 

    If your credit card is a Bank of Ireland credit card, please call Credit Card Services on 1890 251 251 / 00 353 56 7757747 and a representative will look into this for you. 

    If it is a non BOI credit card, please contact your credit card provider. 

    Without your individual credit card number entered in the reference field, the transfer should go into the main credit card account but not on to your own card - this should be easily resolved but may take an extra day or two to transfer to your account.

    We would recommend deleting the payee details and setting them up again.
