This brand new private-eye drama features Jon Tenney and Rebecca Romijn as
bestselling author David Baldacci‘s popular characters Sean King and Michelle
Maxwell. These two aren’t your typical private investigators. Both are former
Secret Service agents, and their unique skills – not to mention their
razor-sharp chemistry – give them a leg up on conventional law enforcement.
Maxwell is a former Olympic athlete who uses her brains, beauty and Beltway
connections to solve cases. King’s career in the Secret Service ended when the
presidential candidate he was assigned to protect was assassinated, sending him
on a downward spiral. Today, King has added a law degree to his arsenal of
skills, allowing him to navigate the system in ways a typical private
investigator never could. Along the way, King and Maxwell clash over
everything, from her garbage-strewn car to his love of wine over beer. King
& Maxwell also stars Michael O’Keefe and Chris Butler as F.B.I. Special
Agents Rigby and Carter, who clash with King and Maxwell over their
    less-than-legal methods

The show premieres Monday the 10th of June 2013

Watching the first episode and it ain't half bad. The opening was great and really set the tone for a summer show that blends the serious with the slightly ludicrous. The cast are good and there's nice chemistry between the leads and most interesting of all it seems that the main plot may run through the full series and not just be neatly tied up every episode though that could change once I finish up episode one.

Yep I'm up to date now and there is a nice conspiracy about Sean's fall from grace.

Enjoyable show. Edgar is a really great character, and as for Rebecca Romijn.... yikes! ;)

Must have a look at Baldacci's K&M books.

I only got the first episode but was so impressed by how good it was that I got them all here now. With the lovely weather I should be out enjoying the sun but after a day at the beach yesterday and being someone who suffers from horrible migraines I think that today may be a catch up on TV, drink some tea and eat some cake day.

Ryan Hurst was great in SOA as Opie and even better here as Edgar defo show stealer so far

Has a Castle vibe to it in that King reminds me of Castle, enjoyable so far

Got to say I'm enjoying this show - probably more than I had expected to which was a nice surprise.

Edgar is a great character adds a nice dimension/quirk to it all

Watched the episodes aired to date and really enjoyed them. It's the perfect easy summer viewing, simple set up with likeable characters and plots that have a little wit to them. It's a long way from the standards of The Wire or Breaking Bad which isn't a bad thing, sometimes all want is a little light entertainment and the show delivers that in spades. Looking forward to seeing where it goes.

The first season finale is already tonight and no word on renewal yet

Great finale. Can't say it made a huge amount of sense, but it was well done. If that was the last episode ever, at least there was a certain amount of closure.

Fun series, but with only 10 posts on this thread (3 from Darko and 4 news posts from Liz!), I'm not sure many people were watching it.

It's a shame the show has such a small following. While there's nothing original or groundbreaking here it's consistently entertaining with likeable characters and playful plots. It reminds me a lot if last years criminally underrated Common Law, a similar show about two mismatched cops working on inventive crimes that play into a wider ongoing story.

After watching episode 8 and once more it was a thoroughly enjoyable and easy to watch 42 minutes. Hopefully it gets a second season as quite a few lesser shows get to go on and on and on and on.

Just finished up the series and really hope we get a second series. While many of the plots were generic the overall arc was excellent and really well implemented. It gives the show an edge over many of the more by the book procedurals on atm and that final scene hints at so, so much more. I really want to see how the story plays out and may just have to grab the books.
