Tornado victim refuses to "Praise the lord" live on TV because she is an atheist!

This minor moment has got people talking in America. Type in "atheist" in google right now and this story comes up immediately.
CNN visited one of the survivors from the tornado in Oklahoma, reporter made a remark that she should "praise the lord". She was extremely nervous and hesitated before saying that she couldn't because she was an atheist lol.
Oklahoma is part conservative rural america so I don't know how common or popular those views are! Give the lady credit, I thought she was REALLY brave to come out and say that! The interview handled himself ok after, if that was fox news or a conservative news channel that may have gotten very ugly.8
