A film that would be perfect for a remake

Hercules in New York, it's ideal. You could make it like Thor except with the Greek gods angle. There were some good elements in the original, a son defying the wishes of his father, a fish out of water scenario in relation to a greek mythos figure in contemporary New York, the conflation of mythological with modern, a love story, humour, action. In the new version Hercules could face down his arch nemesis, Nemesis, or something. Arnold Schwaznegger could play Zeus, it would be good PR for him and it with all these elements combined, action, comedy, romance, allusions to high culture via Greek myth and familial drama, the audience figures would be huge. Someone has got to remake this film!

It's perfect the way it is. Leave it be.

How I would see that working, I would love to see a Thor movie featuring Hercules. Following the same plot as this....

I think it would make for an excellent Thor movie, Hercules is a great character.

The Spy Who Loved Me. My alltime favourite bond movie with my least favourite bond.

Moore was 50 making it & it shows. He seems a little rickety in a lot of it & I'd love to see a modern take on it with the rougher, tougher Craig (while keeping the underwater car etc.)

I sincerely hope not. If they remake one bond and it's a success we will see at least every second a remake of Goldfinger, Dr No, From Russia with Love. I hope they keep making new ones.
