Hi I already asked this question in a thread but I probably shouldn't have. but HI. I have a Sony A550 DSLR, and i've been looking at getting a External Flash I've been trying to do some research.

I've looked at a Yongnuo flash but from reviews it doesn't support TTL on Sony. the Sony's own flashes are too expensive ( for my budget). and I've just found a bower flash that does support TTL on Sony but i have no idea how good/bad/ they are. Anybody got any ideas? advice? Free Sony Flashes?

TTL can be over rated really. I've got dedicated Nikon flashes and almost never use them on auto/TTL. If yo ucan set a flash manually then your ok. A little trial and error until you find the right balance or ISO, Aperture and flash output until you get it all balanced.

TTL works fine, if you set it up correctly

Most, if not all, of the Minolta flashes will fit the Sony!

I have a couple for sale, but your welcome to take a look and see how they work before dabbling in searching for one!

I believe Metz do a number of flashes for Sony, however the flash that Tallon has for sale looks very nice
