    Hi

I'm just wondering if anyone else is getting this problem ?.
Basically my yousmart 32" TV randomly scrolls through source channels i.e. scart 1 scart2 av hdmi ectect. The funny thing is i used to use scart1 for sky/dvd but i switched to scart2 just in case it was a dodgy port But it still happens. The strange thing is although theres nothing plugged into scart1 it randomly picks up what looks like a very distorted tv channel not a full picture just a ghost image and scratchy distorted speaking which comes and go,s.Im guess it may have something to do with digital signals on a similar wavelength.Im not sure if its related but the last couple weeks Vodafone coverage in my local village has also gone to hell aswell. Its bloody annoying ive even tried blocking the remote sensor with tinfoil to see if that helped but no joy :(.Some days it doesnt do it at all other days it will do it for hours and then suddenly stop.Any help on this mystery would be great thanks :).

I would think the 'very distorted tv channel' is just crosstalk from the video-out of scart 1 & will just be whatever you are viewing at the time.

No idea why the tv would scroll through AV inputs. Try taking the batteries out of the remote, in case you hadn't actually blocked the sensor on the tv.

Hi thanks for the reply :)

I already tried removing the batteries it made no difference, thats why i blocked the sensor just in case it was weird remote signal flying about localy. As i said the channel changes seem to coincide with the the intermittent phantom channel showing up on scart1,Which doesnt seem to be the same channel im watching on scart two.Today nothing at all, everything is working fine so i dout its the TV.I have a few masts on hills arround me here,And my tv auto senes the scart port so i was wondering if the phantom channel was confusing my tv into switching source channels.I just dont know but it bloody annoying :(.

Just some internal problem with the tv, I would think. Not sure what would make it behave this way though.
