    I ran the 12k last year, although the three races all follow the same route (one lap of the town is 4k, two laps is 8k and three laps is 12k). Think the 4k might be for walkers only. Here's a Garmin link for the 12k.

    Last year the 12k started first so you had the first lap free of any traffic. However on the second and third laps you found yourself running into the back of traffic (both walkers and slower runners). Wasn't too much of a hassle unless you came up to a particularly big group (but you could just nip out onto the road to go around them).

    Most of it is on very wide pavement or closed roads.
