    Hi,
Just wondering if anyone else had had any issues registering for Parcel Motel. As part of the registration you enter your mobile number and they send you a text with a code you enter to complete the process.
I've tried this a couple of times, but I don't receive any text from them and can't complete registration.

Took a while for me to get the text but it did arrive after a few hours.

It's almost 24hrs at this stage for me.
I've emailed them, but no response on that yet either.

I don't use Parcel Motel so I don't really know much about them, but I'm wondering do they require the full country code as well as the mobile number? eg: 00353871234567

It's a drop down menu for country code and 08x prefix, you only enter your 7 digit number.
OH just registered and got code within 2 seconds and she's on same network as me, I've tried 3 or 4 times at this stage without any luck.
Parcel Motel don't have any explanation and can provide no solution. It's strange.

Perhaps your number is already registered somehow?

First time using this, and bought 2 things from the UK. One from Amazon a few days ago, but have heard nothing since from Parcel Motel? Should I be concerned?

Have you been getting other text messages? and you have not changed company recently (I know guys who still say 086, forgetting they changed to 087)

Definitely an issue with them last week - got 13 texts 24 hours after attempting to register a few times...then it all worked perfectly

    Hi, on a similar-ish topic :-)

Just registered on Parcel Motel, but am now trying to buy an item off ASDA Direct, but they (ASDA) are now asking for either a phone or mobile number, and my own (Dublin) number of course comes up invalid (I assume because they don't deliver to the Republic). Anyone any ideas how to get around this..?

    Thanks in advance/

Is there any free UK based VOIP providers that you might get a number off.

Or a cheap uk PAYG SIM.

Hi Gerard, got round it by putting in the Parcel Motel Antrim number (02890848411) :)
