    General board seems to be opened ? Weird one alright. Say it's a mistake. Someone should shift the posters over this direction !

    most are probably aware of this site, probably just not bothered about alternatives to radiowaves

    I'm very highly educated. I know words, i have the best words, nobody has better words then me.

    Don't think it needs a lot, though I guess domain, hosting and vBulletin licence cost a bit.

    Say all in all about 200 euros per year to operate it.

    I have not been allowed access to Radiowavesforum to post a reply. Who do I talk to in order to get my account reactivated?

    i was very active on the forum back in the day and asked john what the situation would be with people buying it and continuing and he said he couldn't walk away from it if it still had the radiowaves name so maybe he wouldn't like other people running it as he'd always feel a responsibility to it which is totally understandable

    I have been trying to post on Radiowavesforum, It looks like all my privileges have been disabled. I can log in with my old user account and it shows I'm logged in, but I cannot do anything else, including sending a PM to the Radiowave Forum's administrator. Does anyone have an e-mail address I could use to make contact with the powers that be there?

    From the sticky on the top of the radiowavesforum general forum;

    No, the General Board reopening was not a mistake.

    It was (is) designed to judge how much traffic is coming this way and whether the hosting costs are worth paying to keep the archive "live".

    Ultimately the decision will be John's (and all points made earlier about selling the site still apply - offers still coming in!) but hosting costs have been reduced since the site was last open.
    So it seems they'll leave it open to gauge interest, although not letting some people post does seem odd.
