I know this was 2 years ago or something but just wondering if ya have to know a **** load about cars already of ya wanna do an apprenticeship or can ya go ahead and start from scratch in the apprenticeship? I'm a fast learner, especially with fixing things and the likes!!

I started from scratch, even thought diesels had spark plugs on my first week. Couldn't drive a car till a month after I came back from my second phase at FAS. You should be ok once your mechanically minded(I played lego:pac:).

Hey, that makes me feel a bit more confident! Thanks :-) have you finished your apprenticeship? I'm gonna get the CV's ready today. I just hope by telling them that I'd be learning from scratch they might not want the hassle :-/ I'll just have to get lucky I suppose!! Thanks again :-)
