My trusty 8sp Dura Ace (circa 1992) free hub is starting to sound strange and there is some play in it. Do you think it's on it's way out or just needing a degreasing/clean and re grease.
If I have to get a new one, do the modern ones have the same fitting? I think the sprocket tracks on the outside have a different pattern but that's ok, as I have bought a new cassette anyway.

Anybody? Surely I am not the only guy still running on early 90's equipment? Its 7401 by the way-don't want to thrash the wheel as the hub is still smooth as new.
