Need to replace my old wheel road tyre with a turbo trainer tyre for the trainer. How much approx. to get one and fit in bike shop? Thanks.

Here's one for 27, free delivery anywhere in Ireland. Tyres aren't very hard to fit yourself, all you need is a set of tyre levers and your pump.

Good point but I have a training schedule organised these times with the turbo trainer and I don't want to be waiting 2-3 days for delivery. Only reason why I won't buy online. I just want it ready to go and pop wheel back on.

You must be riding with low resistance on the turbo. I will always do inteval training and have resistance hard. My old road tyre didn't last long.

If you had ordered last night from CRC, you'd have it in the morning most likely.... Just food for thought... not sure if you have one yet or not.

Same here. I did one 20 km session on turbo when I got it first with my good road tyres and there were fragments of rubber coming off tyre. Changed back wheel and put on my old wheel. It didn't last long though and I was afraid it would burst in the end so I picked up a turbo tyre in bike shop myself and fitted it myself. It was 30euro so it was fine.
