Forget temporary licences. Forget voluntary work on community radio stations or digital stations like RTE Pulse.

Who is the most recent person to come from pirate radio and get a paid job on Permanent Licenced radio in Ireland?... and which pirate of course!

The two most recent people I am aware of are:
    1. Andy Clarke who joined LMFM in July 2005 - I think he must have been with Hot FM earlier on that year. I'm not sure - could someone clarify this for me if needs be.

    2. Jason Dee who has been involved with Radio Nova since 2010. His last pirate was Capital FM in 2005 I believe.

Obviously, Jason is the most recent of the 2 to become gainfully employed in radio (leaving aside his voluntary temporary licenced work in between), but I'm not sure who left the pirate scene first.

And that's really what I'm getting at - the most recent person to leave the pirate scene and move on as I described above. Surely, there must be someone else.

He was also on Freedom 92 FM.
Louise Jordan springs to mind. She used to be on Freedom 92 FM too and now she's on FM104.

Could have sworn I heard her answering the phones for Adrian on his night show? Actually not being sarcastic.
