Ferguson 250 Ariva Versus the Triax TSC114

From scanning the threads it would appear the following are the main combo boxes to receive Saorview and FTA Satellite:
    • Ferguson 150 Ariva combo HD box
    • Ferguson 250 Ariva combo HD box
    • Triax TSC114 Saorview Combo
    • Walker WP645TS-HD Saorview Combo
    • Linux options (too complicated)

Until a true combo PVR hits the market (are Walker going to release one soon?), I can live without the 7 day EPG recently released on the Walker WP645TS-HD. It's more important that I have all channels in the one location rather than having to toggle between terrestrial and satellite. Therefore the Triax wins out in the Saorview approved category. Regarding the Ferguson Ariva's, I like the fact that I can programme the remote to control the TV, etc, so that rules out the Ariva 150.

So after all that, which would you guys recommend, the Ferguson 250 Ariva combo HD box OR the Triax TSC114 Saorview Combo? (Pros & Cons)

Also, why are the Ariva's not Saorview approved? Is it an MHEG5 thing?

If there is a better box, feel free to highlight it. I want a quality product as I will be coming from Sky HD but I don't want two boxes (Freesat & Saorview).

    Thanks!

To answer my own thread, the following thread would make me lean towards the Ariva:

It does not have MHEG5 but even if it did Ferguson would not pay the €20K per model fee for saorview approval as they figured they would not get their money back with increased sales in our relatively small market.
