Do you think I'm better waiting to book last minute?!

I'm taking a weeks annual leave 25th June.
I haven't been on a holiday in three years and I've promised myself I would go somewhere for a week this year.
My sister is going to take her leave the same week..
Sun holidays are looking pricey enough (obviously since it's peak)
So I'm just wondering, since we're happy to go anywhere for the week.. do you think we would be better off just booking a few days before to get a last minute deal?!
Some crazy ones going this week to Algarve, Morocco, Tenerife for around €300 pps!

    Advice appreciated!

If you don't care where you go to it might be worth taking a chance. I would leave my name witha local travel agent and give them the dates as sometimes last minute deals turn up and can be great value from your travel agent. I may be wrong but I think the Leaving Cert finishes that week and that may cut down on the amount of last minute bargains available. Lowcostholidays.ie or gohop.ie may have bargains as well. Hope you get something.
