FS: Trek 6500 slr

Selling a 19.5" Treak 6500slr mountain bike. The spec is:

Frame: Aluminium
Fork: Rock Shox Reba RL
Drivetrain: 9 speed
Front Mech: Shimano LX
Rear Mech: Shimano Deore XT
Shifters: Shimano Deore XT
Wheels: Front is a Mavic 717 on a Deore hub, rear is a Mavic Crossride, both are in very good condition.
Brakes: Formula RX Hydraulics



The frame is in generally good condition, a few marks that would be expected from a used mountain bike frame. The chain and cassette are well used, and are probably due replacement. The fork is in great condition; fitted about 8 months ago and used about 5 times. Really made a huge difference to the bike. Brakes were also fitted about 8 months ago, and are great.

Asking €420.

As per post #9, if asking is met, I will include a new cassette and chain fitted.

Hi bbrennan,

That's a bit lower than I'd be willing to let it go for, to be honest. There's a bit of negotiating that can go on, but that's a bit too much.

Interested in fork if your splitting? Came off Mr Skeffington Grand Canyon?
Need a 215mm steerer though!

On a fair asking price on the whole bike? Oh, c**p! Sorry about that, I'm sure Skeff would have preferred to sell the whole thing, and I sadly didn't get the use out of it! Great fork, though.

No just the fork.
Your own call, but would you be better of fitting new chain and cassette for under €40 and selling bike as ready to go, ideal starter bike for xc/trails?
