We are planning a mid week city break to either Krakow or Warsaw, krakow would be first preference but flight wise looks like Warsaw will easiest option. We have a 8 month old and just wondering are the cities buggy friendly? Has anyone any experience taking buggies on the public transport there?

Also, what's not to be missed in Warsaw? Lastly, for accommodation can you recommend a district that is central-ish but quiet enough for a sleeping baby.

I was there last Summer. They seem to have babies there too so it's no different to any other European country. Try airbnb for apartment rental.

yep i can confirm they do also have babies in poland :O I recommend krakow. For me a far prettier city. Warsaw is just another capital city. It is nice but I think Krakow just has the x factor! Very easy to travel around.

I would pick Krakow over Warsaw too, but I also wouldn't discount lovely Gdansk by the sea.

+1 for Gdansk. Also Gydnia and Sopot are beautiful.

Also Turun. Fly to Bydgoszcz and get a train for 1 hour. Really nice city too. One of my favourites.
