    Hi,

I've searched the forum and couldn't find anything so apologies if this has already been brought up. I've an interview this week for the role of technical services engineer with ryanair. My degree and masters were both mechanical engineering not aeronautical.

I've researched topics such as the different technical services areas, namely powerplant, avionics, structures, reliability, systems and their main functions.

The history of the company, its current fleet of 303 737-800s and the 170 ordered, engine type/model and basic principles of operation, theory of flight and main 737 components.

Does anyone have any tips/advice on other areas I should look into or what kind of questions I could be asked?

    Any advice appreciated.

    Thanks.

Just off hand here you could look up about types of maintenance checks, the planning and logistics that it entails, the importance of documentation & traceability of aircraft records and parts, the types of certs/logs an aircraft needs to carry.have a search into stuff above.

Experience of an MRO software system and MRO organization.

    Line checks.

The appropriate maintenance manuals SRM's etc.

A general idea of ryanairs operations model.

And a natural hack to pass the buck onto someone else.

Oh and when they ask you for your expectant salary. Think small.

Hi guys, just wondering if anybody could help, have interview this week with Ryanair for IT Developer, and just wondered if anybody has had a similar interview with them and what type of interview was it. I know I have to have a half hour theory exam first, but not too sure what to expect with that, thanks in advance for any help:)
