My friend needs to know how much roughly/approximately:
    Male
    17 Soon
Driving Toyota Yaris Terra 1.0litre (Going To Share With Mother currently driving it too, so he doesn't have to pay tax or nct)
Shes learner too and has insurance AXA (comprehensive) of about €450 per year because she putted husband as primary driver or something like that, I don't know. She had no claims since driving 2011.
Thing is how much estimation please would this guy get, would it rise over €1,000 or lower.
The tax on the yaris i've been told is very cheap. Around €14 a month.

Just wondering what steps he should take when taking out insurance including to keep the premium small as possible. I want to know the named driver and that crap information about. I need someone to explain it to me in plain english with no Jargon.

It's likely to be a lot higher if quoted at all.
    1. Because of his age 17 is a very high risk category as far as companies are concerned
    2. Some companies won't accept 2 Learners at once

Why don't you go online to 1 of those companies and fill in the details and see what comes out?

    Regarding the named driver.
The husband in the scenario you mentioned above is supposed to be the main driver of the car, the named driver is then a person who uses the car less so. If this person is the primary user and the husband rarely drives it then you are furnishing false information and the possibility of the Insurance company refusing a claim.
