Clubs/Societies active over the summer

    Hey guys,

    Just finished college down in Limmers, and moving up to Galway soon for work. Just wondering would many clubs/societies be active over the summer in NUIG? And do they accept external members?

    I wouldn't mind trying out a martial art if any of those clubs are going over the summer, though I suppose for some things I may have to wait til september for a beginners course

    ChessSoc is still going. Meeting in the Cottage of a Thursday at 8. All welcome.

    Would also be interested if there was anything still going still in nuig but working down the road for the summer

    Cool beans. Interesting that it's a society in NUIG while a club in UL...perhaps the UL guys are just a bit more physical :P

    TBH probably not what I'd be interested in though.

    From the low response I think maybe just asking who's still going was a bad idea and I should just start contacting all the ones that I like the look of to see what they're up to.
