use polar hrm bike comp on mtb just as hrm

    Hi all
    is there any way to use my polar ct100 bike comp just as a hrm without having the bike movement start it. I have it fully setup on road bike but i'm planning a mtb trip that having just hrm would be very handy. but while the ct100 picks up my hrm it wont display it on device without the spoke mag & transmitter to start the file/trip.

    i'm prob making it sound confusing but maybe someone has used the same device on two bikes ??

    I think you may have it set up to record automatically when the bike moves. Check the settings, it should be possible to set out to start manually.
