What sorta money would a build from HWVS be? I was looking at a WD Media player and RPi and a few others but they all have short comings with what they can play or do. WD likes to stop playing mid movie apparently (never worked right?) and pi doesn't like 1080p? I could stick linux and vlc on a HTPC? VLC works good. Or…

Or XBMCuntu? Never used that though.

I play 1080p videos on my Raspberry Pi just fine but it does not like files over 4GB in size.
