I have a Land River Discover 2000 that the Driveshaft snapped in it today, I have no money to fix it and I need to get rid of it for whatever I can get for it.

I have it up on Donedeal, but as opposed to getting offers of €200 for scrap I don't know how else to get rid of it.

    Any help is appreciated.

Describe it properly, and price it accordingly?

I think I saw the ad. You should put a price on it anyway. Looks like its worth a few bob to me if it only needs a few hundred spent.

A driveshaft wouldn't be hard got for a discovery... very easy to change too..

As said, stick up an ad, be honest in the ad and fair with the price and you'll have no problem shifting it.

Is there much else wrong with it?

There is one light on the dash about hill decent but it doesn;t affect the driving of the car and I beleive that it is just some extra in the car that is not working.

To be honest I don't know what it is worth, I have priced a driveshaft and it seems to be around €300 all in, which isn't a lot of money, but it is when you simply havn't got it.

There's any amount of them being broken for parts, afaik its a pure handy job that can be done in a few minutes with minimal tools (if its anything like any shaft ive changed before) check on done deal for ones for parts, surely one out there for much cheaper...

    Is it a 200tdi?

Perhaps worth bearing in mind that a buyer might be concerned that if you have to sell your car when a 300 repair job pops up that you may not have maintained it very well. Not trying to be harsh, but just something to think about when selling.
