So I got a new headset that plugs in through USB and my speakers through the 3.5mm audio slot, when I want to play music or whatever through my speakers when im not using the headset for gaming, I have to unplug the headset every time. Is there a way to have the playback through both of them?

Like when im gaming I want to just switch the speakers off and use the headset, but when im listening to music I want to just turn the speakers on. Is this possible does anyone know? Im sure it is, I just cant find a way to do it.
    Cheers

Just change the default sound device to whichever you want to use as needed.

^ That's not exactly quick though.

I haven't been able to find a quick way to do it. The closest I found was to set the speakers as the default audio device, and the headphones as the default communication device. That way, at least you don't have to screw with inputs if you get a Skype call or something.
