French speaking groups

Hi guys. I am currently trying to learn some French, or relearn it, as I did it ten years ago in secondary school. I am wondering are there any groups that meet up where it would be possible to practice speaking and listening to French, with either native speakers, or, ideally, people like myself who are starting out again trying to pick it up. My knowledge is very very basic at this stage, so even just listening to real people speaking real french would help.

Any info people can give me would be appreciated.
