Purple Grass Tips

Have an awful lot of grass with purple grass tips and the grass is lacking a dark green colour, its quite pale in fact. It is unusual as this is the only field that has these purple tips and it was reseeded last spring. Originally thought it was a P deficiency but field has P index 4 Any ideas?

Common all over the country, have alot of grass here like that, the soil is fine, the P just cant make it to the tip of the grass because of the cold.
