Whale vertebrae?

I was walking on Redbarn beach, in Co.Cork this afternoon and found what I think is a Whale vertebrea. I was hoping someone could tell me if it is, and if so what type of whale. I'd say best bet is to bring it to an aquarium or a museum or as a last resort.... a vet.

Yeah its a cetacean. Maybe you can confirm its origin using the IWDG's website records of stranding. I think the best experts to identify it are in the IWDG or Zoology department in in UCC or Sligo IT.
