    Hi,

We move to new place with lots of stairs (they have carpets on) with 3 bedrooms with carpets and big living room with woodem panels.

We currently have Nilfisk Action Plus but it's heavy will be annoying to move between 3 levels of the house. The living room gets bit dusty so I'm looking at something light, easy to carry around - probably not using the bag so the dust gets trapped in the hoover.

Didn't look at anything yet but first thing that came to my mind was Dyson. Can you recommend something ? Dyson or other. Thanks

I'd recommened a Henry, I've had one for a few years and given it lots of abuse, plus it does'nt need a bag.

I have the same Miele on the go since 2006 and its immaculate. It uses bags though. I don't find it at all heavy or awkard to use and I'm far from Mr Muscle. My mother and sister both have the same brand, none of us could find fault with them. I 100% recommend them.

What? They do need bags, however the bags for Henry seem the cheapest on the market, considering their size and the fact they're in packs of 10.

Miele - without any hesitation at all.

We've had 2 over the years and they're:

Robust, well-designed, very quiet (relative to other makes), very good filtration, everything works flawlessly. They're also relatively easily lugged around compared to big canister-style models like the old Nilfisks.

Does anyone know anything about HEPA on hoovers?

    I am looking at this

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Electrolux-Z4471-Powerplus-Cylinder-Cleaner/dp/B003H04P9C/ref=sr_1_1?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1371046835&sr=1-1&keywords=z4471

but I have no idea where to buy HEPA filters that will fit it.

I read in one of the amazon reviews for the model that the HEPA filters are pretty pricey but I want to make sure they are easily available for the model before I buy it.

Any shop that does domestic appliance spares should be able to get them for you. That vacuum cleaner seemed relatively popular.

If not shops, give Quinnspares or Exsparetise a ring.
