Broad picked a few tricks out of the hat. 68 is a very poor score for a team that had England by the throat.

A match that finishes in 2 and a half days begs serious questions of pitch preparation. Clearly the weather has no helped, but less than half the batsmen getting to double figures through the whole match tells a story

And yet most of the wickets spoke of poor patience or poor technique, not deliveries moving sideways off the pitch. Broad and Anderson both swung the ball a long way today, which is not something a groundsman can deliver.

.....And also about the quality of one the teams atleast! England are a hard team to beat at home generally (last summer being the exception of course!)

Was pleasantly surprised at the way NZ came back into the match on the 3rd evening/4th morning but not surprised by the way they were blown away after that

On another note ....the thought of having to watch Cook,Compton and Trott grind their way at 1,2,3 for England all summer is already giving me nightmares:eek::eek:

It was finished halfway through the fourth day.

Yep,agreed and when you bowl to a team where only player has a test average over 40, you will get low scores.

that is some innings that NZ have put up in the 2nd 1-dayer.

Tough to see England matching it, though who knows, the wicket there seems good for batsmen.
