    Got her the other night head shot at about 100 yards first fox with this Savage .223 very pleased :)

    We will get out this weekend dean got another one last night about 50 yards he was bouncing in and wouldnt stop had the red light on him he stopped to have a look and I put him down then nice and clean seen a few more during the night but they were very cute good night all the same

    Tidy shot, cant beat the .223 , not trying to hijack your thread, I am a huge fan of the.17hmr & have the .223, one night out bunny shoiting came across a fox 50 /60 yards out , my mate on the lamp gave me a great image and I nailed him in the white bib, Hormandy ballistic tip , down he went, over I went to pick it up and gone.. spent nearly an hour looking for him and never found him.
    Read all about shooting foxes out over 100 - 150 yards but on my experiance I find it hard to believe.
    My .223 is the only thing that I am bringing out for Mr Foxy now, great as the .17 is , its a small game gun, interested now in looking at the new .17center fire results.
